Carolyn Haggadone, age 80, of Brown City, MI, died Thursday, June 30, 2022 at McLaren Flint Region Medical Center. Carolyn Joyce Snyder was born July 20, 1941 in Flushing, MI. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and the late Madalyn (Buchanan) Snyder. Carolyn grew up in Lum, MI. Carolyn was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1959. She lived most of her life in the Imlay City and Lum areas. She married Howard Harland Haggadone May 17, 2006 in Lapeer, MI and they have since lived in the Brown City area.

Carolyn had worked at several stores and businesses around the Imlay City area over the years; Dean’s Drug Store in downtown Imlay City, Cappy’s A&W Restaurant, Edward’s Office Supply Store, and also as a tool crib storekeeper at Hydraulic Tubes & Fittings in Almont.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Howard Haggadone of Brown City; her son, Don (Patty) Walker of Westport, WA; step-children, Ron (Ginny) Dye of Marlette, Brian (Cindy) Dye of Brown City, Steven Dye of Brown City, ReNee (Michael) Palmer of Brown City, Michelle Mott of Rockford; and her sisters, Pamela Brennan of Roanoke, TX and Penny (Barry) Gilbert of Snellville, GA. Carolyn is also survived by her grandchildren, John (Jamie) Walker of Gas City, IN, Joe (Lorraine) Walker of Hampstead, NC, Scott (Dawn) Dye of LaVernia, TX, Brandon (Katie) Dye of Attica, Krislene (Eric) Kemp of North Branch, Justin Dye of Brown City, KayLissa Dye of Brown City, Bradley Palmer of Saginaw, Jordan Palmer of East Lansing, Joshua Palmer of Brown City; and by fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Madalyn Snyder; granddaughter Jodi Lynn Dye Dale; and former husbands, John Walker and Ed Mott.

The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Paul Gaymon, pastor of the Faith Baptist Church of Brown City, will be officiating.

The family will be available for visiting hours from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
